At Tadorna we specialise in all deer activities. We can conduct an impact assessment for you to determine the level of the local population and associated damage. Our management plans are designed to support you in reducing impact indicators to acceptable levels.
Site visit > Deer impact assessment > Report > Deer Management Plan > Population assessmentÂ
In order to assist you with the management of deer on your land we will need to conduct a site visit during which time we will undertake a thorough deer impact assessment. This entails studying the land for specific deer indicators such as racks (slots), freying, browsing levels, lecks, deer couch areas, targeted plant species and the botanical composition of woodland. Then we will pull all of these observations into a scoring system and produce a report for you. This will serve as your baseline assessment, upon which we will produce a bespoke management plan for you, taking into account your skills and resources. If required we can advise your stalker, or carry out the management plan on your behalf. We are then available to conduct population assessments using our thermal night vision equipment and associated monitoring techniques.
